You are probably wondering why I am posting this picture...
When I was in middle school my dad worked for a company based in Japan. He would fly to Japan a few times a year for business. On one of those trips, he bought me this bank. I decided that I would put only quarters in the bank. The bank has since been moved from Grand Blanc to Ann Arbor to Albany to Grand Rapids.
Fast forward eighteen or so years, and the bank was finally full of quarters. Any guesses on how much money was in the bank? Elbert guessed to within $7...pretty amazing. Kristen... Darren and I have counted change so many times and in so many places. The most "interesting" being while I was in labor with Raelyn at the hospital - that time we had $199 - just one dollar short of the hospital co-pay! Anyway, my guess (in honor of that particular occasion ) is $199.
