What Do Anteaters Eat?

Last week, Evan and I were reading a book about an anteater. I asked him, "What do you think anteaters eat?"

He thought for a moment and said, "Pork!"

My Three Raccoons

We went to a playgroup at a nature center in Lowell on Tuesday. It was a beautiful morning to be outside, sunny and high 30's.

The kids learned all about mammals, especially raccoons. They had storytime, went on a hike to find tracks, and did a raccoon craft.

Here are my 3 little raccoons...

Car Accident

Last Thursday, on his way to work, Elbert was in a car accident. It was very icy, and he was going very slowly up a hill. A truck was coming around a curve and down the hill (way too fast), lost control and slammed into him. It was a scary thing. Thankfully, Elbert is ok.

Unfortunately, the car was totaled. It's very sad for both of us. That was my first car. I bought it after college, and had it for 11 years. It was a GREAT car. I think other than routine oil changes, I only put about $300 into repairs. It would have kept running for another 100,000 miles probably.

Now, we have to replace it. The search has begun, and we are praying that God will provide another reliable car for Elbert to drive to and from work.
