As Elbert and I were going to sleep last night, we heard Andrew cry. I went into his room and found him sitting up in bed. This is how our conversation went:
Mom: "Andrew, what's wrong?"
Andrew: "I can't do something."
Mom: "What can't you do?"
Andrew: "I don't want to do something."
Mom: "What don't you want to do?"
Andrew: "I don't want to play with something."
Mom: "What don't you want to play with?"
Andrew: "I don't want to play with water right now."
Mom: "That's okay, you can just lay your head down and go back to sleep."
Andrew (as he put his head down): "That's what I was thinking."
Of course, he didn't remember any of it this morning.
